I have dog. When I lock the car and leave it with a dog inside he sets off the alarm. His do I deactivate the inside motion sensor?

Depends on what Palisade you have.

If you have the 10.25” infotainment screen, the setting should be on that. Setup (hard button) > vehicle > convenience > rear occupant alert.

If you have the 8” screen, the setting is in your instrument cluster settings accessed via your steering wheel. User settings > convenience > rear occupant alert.

Same issue with my 2 dogs. Was entertaining at first...now a PITA. This solves my problem; Artemis & Henry thank you both!

Any idea how to turn it off when the dogs in the front seat?

Same… it may be ”rear occupant alert,” but it will detect movement anywhere in the car.

Bottom line… if you plan on leaving any moving thing inside the car or want to leave your windows open and have the car locked, you need to either snooze the rear occupant alert by acknowledging the popup in your cluster when it says to check rear seats as you turn the car off. Or turn it off entirely as I described above.

Further clarification: the setting is in the infotainment if you have a digital gauge cluster. If you have a traditional cluster setup, the setting is in there.
