What do you think of this rendering of the facelifted Hyundai Palisade?

South Korean carmaker is already working on the mid-cycle facelift for the Hyundai Palisade SUV. We already have seen the very first spy pictures of the prototype like a week ago, and today we want to share with you the very first rendering of how it will look. The Palisade (codenamed as OL) is already available with two V6 gasoline engines, 3.5 and 3.8 MPi with 277 and 295 hp. It is also available with a diesel engine, the 2.2 R-Engine with 200 ps. When Hyundai launched the Palisade couldn’t be so sure that it will turn in a total success.

As there any spy pictures of the Palisade facelift until now, we cannot say to much about what changes will have, if will have the same treatment as Santa Fe or Grandeur or instead that will receive a slight facelift. Hyundai could take advantage of this facelift and include a Hybrid/Plug-in Hybrid variant like they did with the Santa Fe. Read more...

I have seen some stuff published about a refresh, but it "appears" to me that they are saying it will arrive in 2022 in the USA, so I assume it will be a 2023 model. But I could be wrong.

I like my current Calligraphy a lot better, but at least it's not horrible. I just don't get why automakers have the urge to make all their freaking fleet to look identical. I don't personally like the looks of many new Hyundais, especially at the front, which started with the Sonata, and now you're seeing it in more and more models, as they're redesigned. The Palisade has a unique, and elegant design, so hope Hyundai doesn't mess with that :).

the grill design moves it to look more like the Santa Fe design, and I think it looks pretty good in that picture.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the the 2022 Caligraphy wheels will be scrapped. Every time I see a Calligraphy on the road I cringe at the wheels. But that's me; I have a 2020 Limited and love the look of the wheel on my model, but that lasted just one model year so Hyundai didn't feel it deserved to live on in 2021.
