FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 13, 2020 – Hyundai earned the Consumer Guide® Automotive Best Buy awards in three distinct and highly competitive categories for 2020. The Hyundai Palisade was recognized for midsize crossover, Kona for subcompact crossover for the second year in a row and Accent for subcompact car for the third year in a row.
The Best Buy Award trophies were presented by Tom Appel, publisher, Consumer Guide Automotive at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show last week.
“The Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy awards signify the commitment we place on quality and value across our lineup,” said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “The Palisade, Kona and Accent are excellent examples of leading design, innovation and performance that consumers are looking for in their next car purchase.”
The Palisade is recognized for its roomy passenger and cargo space, quiet and smooth ride and all around comfort. “It also offers several thoughtful features that help it stand out from the pack,” according to Consumer Guide reviewers.
The Kona, with its 1.6L Turbo GDI engine, combines exceptional driving performance with class leading safety and advanced technology – “besting most competitors with its all-around practicality and rare-for-the class comfort and convenience features.”
The Accent continues to top the list year after year, delivering outstanding value, “by offering pleasant driving manners and a decent selection of up-to-date features at very affordable prices.”
Consumer Guide evaluates numerous vehicles during the year to determine which ones prove their value and available features.
