I have the LTD.....and just recently used the wipers for the first time.
The intermittent only has "AUTO" setting, so regardless of the frequency of the wiper, it wont' steadily engage unless it senses moisture.
No problem. Thing is, it doesn't wipe when I'd like it to......and then it was running nuts like i was in a gale storm.
Is there a way to bypass the AUTO setting and simply have it run in an intermittent frequency of my choosing?

Yes. Watch your cluster when you activate the wipers. It goes OFF -> INT -> AUTO -> LO -> HI.

Hmm. I recall the cluster but don't recall seeing the INT option. I'll have a look!

There is not an INT setting. Pg 3-93 of the Owner's Manual clearly shows only OFF AUTO LO HI.

My Limited only goes from OFF->AUTO->LOW->HIGH.

Anyone talk to Hyundai about this yet? My limited is also missing the INT option as well

The auto wiper function is worthless..Int. funtion does not exist unfortunately, I have been frustrated with this more than once.

It's not missing anything. The limiteds get the auto mode that covered anything the INT would and then some.

The Limited having an intermittent function would be redundant. That’s what the automatic function is for, and that’s the best thing about auto wipers – you don’t have to turn them up and down and up, you just turn them on or off and they handle the rest.

I’m assuming everyone who thought the wipers weren’t wiping when needed has already adjusted their sensitivity setting to the max?
