Issues with Wireless Charging Pad?

Has anyone had the issue where when your phone is on the wireless charging pad and you are in a call, the call drops and then the phone dials a completely RANDOM number? Its doing some weird things to my husband's Iphone.
Any NICE comments are welcome.

I haven't had this happen. I also haven't heard of it. Is it a new iPhone? I just have the new SE (it's about nine months old) and it's been fine.

Ours is a calligraphy. My phone is an iPhone 11pro and hubby’s is an iPhone XR. His has done it since he put it on the charging pad. Mine did it today when only in cup holder beside charging pad. Dialled a random number without being in my hand. Was weird.
