Left sunroof open during a pretty good rainstorm. Seats got pretty wet. Floor seems fairly dry. First issue is the Passenger door button to open door from the outside is not working at all. I swapped door handles and seems to be with wiring. The other problem is the passenger side seat belt warning goes off even if no one is sitting there. If I connect the seat belt it stops. Any idea what I can check on? Car is out of warranty. Appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.

Hey, had a similar issue with water.First thing dry out the interior completely best to remove panels and check for any trapped water About the door button, check the connectors in the door – could be some corrosion there.I had the same seatbelt problem, disconnecting and cleaning the connector under the passenger seat helped me.Might be something similar for you.Good luck, let us know how it goes!

It actually all dried out on it’s own and all is working fine.
