Have Hyundai dealers been supplying new Palisade owners with substitute transportation when your SUV is in the shop for periods of time longer than a day? I see some posts about their new car being in the shop for several days (or even weeks) while they try to fix a new-to-them problem.

Yes. My son got a Sonata when his Tucson was in for service. We were told that if ours was in for more than 1 day we would get a loaner as well.

Yes -- I have had two loaners, both Santa Fe's...

I just had my Palisade in for the recall on the side curtain airbags (a possible issue with the airbag tearing when deployed). Received a loaner as the timeframe of the fix was an unknown. Mine was the first recall preformed for this at this dealership. End result was about a 3-4 hour repair.

My dealership has a Hertz shop onsite and will reimburse rental if you don't opt to wait.

Generally for warranty work that cannot be completed in a day, they will provide a loaner. For non-warranty work, it is up to the dealer, and probably most don't do it for free unless the repair bill is very high or you are a very good customer.
