My mother’s 2021 Palisade periodically has this loud popping noise that only occurs when the vehicle engine is off. Sometimes it starts after locking the car, sometimes it starts when getting into the car. The sound definitely is not in the engine area as we’ve popped the hood and heard nothing. It sounds like a door actuator but the locks do not seem to be moving. It also seems to come from a different area in the car each time it happens and the rhythm varies from what is in the attached video.
I’ve taken to dealer and showed video and they have never heard/seen this issue before.
Any thoughts?
