Mirrors not tilting back up after reversing

Anyone know why the side mirrors do not tilt back up after reversing? I have had to do it manually each time.

I have mine set in memory settings I'm driver 1 mine works fine
don't know as this should have to be set or not
If mirror switch is on for left or right, mirror goes down when in reverse.
As soon as I put it in drive they go back to regular setting.

Are your 1-touch windows working properly (going all the way up or down, after the 2nd 'click')? If not, my guess is indexing the windows would also take care of indexing the mirrors too. Hope that solves your problem. Since they go down in R, the feature is working fine. The only other potential issue is the PRND switch not working properly, but your reverse camera goes away once transmission is in D, correct? Good luck.

That's typically a door module issue, which should be fixed with a reset. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and see if that takes care of it (it should). Otherwise, a dealer would have to do that with their computer. Good luck.

You cannot have the mirror in the lock position. So you have to have the setting on left or right. I keep it on left. And it will work

Im pretty sure the OP is not moving the switch between left/right and lock between shifting from reverse to drive
