I got an email today from J.D. Power asking me to fill out a survey specifically about the engine and transmission on the Palisade. One of the first questions is whether I've had a problem. To which I said no, which immediately disqualified me from the survey.

I don't remember a ton of people complaining about the engine or transmission. There have been a few vibration issues reported on the forums, and the odd one-off issue, but nothing dramatic. Not like the wind noise issue, at any rate. I wonder what prompted that.

It could also be that it's not just about the Palisade and that they're sending this to every Hyundai owner about all of the cars they sell. The email started with "Dear New 2020 Hyundai Palisade Owner", but that means nothing.

Anyone else got this?

Same thing happened to me. Got quickly booted when I said I didn't have an issue

So they just wanted to know if you had a problem, such as breakdown or needed repairs. If for example you felt more horsepower is needed, that would not qualify ?

Correct. They appeared to be looking for data on issues with the engine/transmission not behaving as designed.

Lehmberg Law website mentions Telluride problems..lots of them..including vibrations when reaching certain speeds.
Vibrations have been a concern for some Palisade owners as you know. Perhaps this generated the survey question.

There was an issue with the transmission at highway speeds. Some stated it was low on transmission oil

I'm having an issue with my 2020 SEL, it feels like its tugging when I pull off...i thought one of my tires was off balance. I had it checked when I took it in to have the oil changed. The Service rep said the tires were fine, and he didn't find a problem..now I'm thinking there IS an issue. Ill be calling in the morning

My SEL also has a low speed tugging accelerating and when coasting below 30'ish mph. I read that the car needs to be connected to the dealership computer and have the shift points reprogrammed.
