Hi, I live in Atlantic Canada and just traded a 2017 Grand Cherokee for a 2021 Palisade Calligraphy. I enjoy most things about the Palisade, ie the space, heads up display, smart cruise and the stability on the road. I took it on a 3000km trip day after we took possession. Its more stable when windy, passing trucks or those depressions in the road from too many trucks than the Jeep but the seats are not as comfortable on the long hauls and the passengers seat is not as adjustable. It is lower to the ground than the Jeep so I don't have to put on running boards for my vertically challanged wife. All in all I think it is going to be a great vehicle.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Palisade! Nice upgrade from the Jeep Grand Cherokee - which is also a nice SUV. I'm glad you found us. :)

That's kind of funny... I drove a Grand Cherokee for a week and loved it, but still went with a Palisade as it's just a better value. If I was expecting to do any actual off-roading, I'd probably have gone with the GC. But an occasional dirt or snowy road didn't rise to the standard for me.

Are you talking about the new GC 'long' version? The older one is not even comparable to the Pali (much smaller).
