Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Are you considering a Palisade to replace your Tucson?

Hi! Thanks.
Yeah! Forgot to mention this. I'm quite tired of Tucson. Want something a bit fancier. Considering Palisade to go offroad.

I've browsed the forum for a while, but new to register. I'm Adam with a 2020 Palisade Limited in Sierra Burgundy with Black interior. Just a few minor modifications. I had the driver and passenger windows tinted to legal limits (in Ohio). I have Weather Tech floormats. And I use the CAR2Play adapter for wireless Apple Car Play. When I bought the vehicle in April 2020 I switched from a 2013 Volvo XC70. As of September 2022 I have 37,000 miles.

I do like the styling, features, and overall comfort of the Palisade. In general I don't mind driving the Palisade.

I've been unhappy with the build quality for the price. The paint chips easily, the body panels are thin and dent easily, the finish on the standard 2020 Limited wheels is peeling off, my liftgate struts and control module had to be replaced (under warranty), the turn signal light on the driver side mirror has water or condensation in it, I have the windnoise and smell issues that others mention. I'd expect some of these issues on lower end vehicles, but not the top end vehicle of the brand. Although I'm not looking to get rid of it anytime soon, it's unlikely that I will buy another Hyundai. I'm also not a fan of the local dealership.

Palisade is not a particularly good off-road vehicle, even if you get AWD.
