No DRL unlocking the vehicle

Hello.. I see that the DRLs don't turn on when the doors are unlocked. If headlight delay is checked, it turns on along with the headlight only at night. Not nothing in daylight! Is that how is working for everyone.
 
Not sure I quite understand the problem your having. The DRL system is not supposed to work if the vehicle is turned off or if the parking brake is set. I have my lights set to AUTO during the day while driving without a problem.
 
I think I understand the OPs question...I believe that they are stating that when approaching the vehicle and unlocking it with the remote, the headlights and or DRL(LEDs) do not come on as is the case with a lot of other vehicles. This very common function is considered an additional safety feature in that it provides additional light when approaching or walking away from the vehicle, particularly at night.

So I was wondering the same and since I can't find a setting, I assume Hyundai left that "feature" out.
