Question-
I selected a gray Palisade with beige interior b/c only interior available. It was nice. But I preferred dark interior with kids. One came in next day-salesman did an exchange. Am I losing my mind? It does not have A pillar wind noise, but seems louder in cabin from behind me. I drove gray on same highway, did not seem loud inside cabin. Same day drive silver home, same road and seemed so much louder. Could it be the tires? Gray had 130 miles on my trip to dealer-arrived w/189. Yes, long trip to my dealer. Silver had 25 miles. Now 78 on trip home. Less miles on tires creating noise/newer tires? Over inflated?
I am worried I made mistake to get dark interior if car so loud. Again, loudness seems behind me (rear wheels/cargo area). Also heard strange noise 2x when test driving and U turning. Thought it was truck behind me. Then left dealer and had to U turn, heard noise and no car behind me. Anyone else having this? Again, drive 2. One seemed quieter w/cabin noise. And if I noticed it-i
it might be that much louder.
I wanna love this car-and as I returned graphite Gray I did except such light interior. Now, do I have a loud car for 5-7 years? Both brand new. Silver right off truck. ?? Any help from other owners will be really appreciated.
thank you.

Tires are significantly over-inflated during sea transport, and are supposed to be deflated to recommended PSI during dealer prep. But they often forget to do it. So that should be the first thing to check.

Then check the door seals for any obvious problems, and maybe via trail and error use masking tape to see if you can find the noise source by a process of elimination (assuming the noise is coming in via the door seals).

I’ve not noticed these wind/noise issues some people report. I’d take it back to service If that’s the one you like. I personally like the beige leather in mine as it lightens the cabin up a bit.

Over inflated?
I am worried I made mistake to get dark interior if car so loud.
It is significantly more likely that this is due to something like over inflated tires than the dye they used for the interior leather.

He means, he switched the car for the other interior that he likes more. Thanks all

We test drove a Palisade that whistled on the front passenger side window. Could we drive a different Palisade please? The next car had no noise issues whatsoever. That's the one we took home with us!

Tires are fine--car has serious vibration which reverberates throughout car making it very loud. Spent $475 to sound deaden it--which decreased db level by about 4-5db. Which is good--found that front door B pillar did not close fleshly--mechanic had to replace a part-but no one from Hyundai will acknowledge the vibration at 64-75. Took to service 2x times no one will follow the TSB on how to evaluate it--mechanic just drove it few miles and says no vibration, this is how the car is.
I read on some other forums that cars made Dec. 2019 are having the vibration problem but, Hyundai says that was an April -July 2019 mfg problem, not December and that the mechanic does not have to follow the TSB. No one from Hyundai dealer/service department offered to check the tires if flat spots, not offering to check driveshaft. Also read that one person had to replace transmission to finally get rid of the vibration. So their Hyundai service department went through tires, driveshaft, and trans before they were able to get the issue resolved. Non stop fight with service dept and Hyundai corporate--
Pretty bad that no one will just evaluate it on a lift/try the TSB procedure which is tires, driveshaft--only time on their part...So--I give up-
Selling the car after 3.5 months and 866 miles..yup--866. Car is very uncomfortable to drive with the vibration. Been 450-500 miles to/from dealer (50 miles away) so drove it home day I bought it, 2x times RT to service. This is not worth the hassle. Shame-if a drivable car, has nice features that are great for older drivers...power 3rd and 2nd row and camera in dash for BSM. But not worth the aggravation.

Take to different dealership. Tell them problem of noise, let them figure out what is wrong.
Don't tell them about TSB that is out of date. Just ask them to check on noise.
