Is there any kind of instruction manual for this new upgrade? I cannot figure the new radio screen (saving stations etc)

Here is one.

Saving stations is no different than the last version... you just hit the star when you’re on a channel you want to save.
 
Thanks, i tried that and I didn’t think it worked. Will try again.
