I noticed there are a number of different ports of entry for Hyundai, but does anyone know how to translate the codes? My window sticker says PT.

Some people have said Portland, but others say it might be Tacoma.

Wonder why they don’t just use the standard 3-letter designation?

Standardized by who? Where is the list of standardized port names.

BTW the shipments are done by Hyundai Glovis (a separate company from Hyundai Motor Group), and their route maps show a route from South Korea that has stops in both Tacoma and Portland (that is just one route, and there are others routes to other Hyundai ports of entry on the West Coast and East Coast of the USA). The Palisade is made in South Korea, while most other Hyundai's sold in the USA are made in Alabama or Georgia.

Customs and border protection has a complete list of 3-letter codes for every port of entry.

Hyundai Glovis ships all around the world, and it looks like that list is for the USA only.
