Just picked up my palisade. The interior just blows me away at this price. I have two small kids. Anyone have any good tips for things they bought to protect the interior? I have a beige interior.

N-95 masks, they work wonders.
 
uhmmm yeah there feet are what makes the most mess. no kids i take it?
I use F11 HPS for the interior, don't put it on the steering wheel it's slick. after that I just use a wet rag to clean anything and it just slides off off, I then use a micro fiber and apply the liquid to the rag and give everything a quick run. Works wonders for that.

Welcome Wesmont, I purchased these for my grandkids car seats, ages 6 and 2, for a road trip. They helped to protect the leather from the car seat edges. I also bought the leather cleaner kit, seems to work well. I also have a beige interior.

I've read multiple complaints about the anti-skid bottom melting to leather seats in the heat. Also, seat siding too much, especially in a crash. Anything you noticed thus far? I'm hesitant to add, but also don't want car seat scratches either.

I didn’t notice any problems in the limited time that I used them. It was for about 3 weeks in May and the car didn’t get super hot inside as it set In the sun for just a couple of hours at the most.
I agree I would be concerned on the problems you mentioned and you may want to invest in something of higher quality, especially using them continually . I saw weather tech among other brands have them.

Wife and I picked up grand children, I was worried about child seats harming the leather seats.
Had several new bath room floor mats. Checked and found two different size ones.
1 was perfect for the seat bottom and the other fit the back great. not much over hang
and just enough so child seat doesn't hurt seats.
Doesn't help with the candy and goo on the doors where little hands can reach

My kid is 2 and still in a car seat. I put a towel under the car seat to protect the seat itself. When he graduates out of that chair, I'll have to find another solution.
 
We do not yet have a Palisade but we have kids. We have never had trouble with the leather seats in any car. The car seats tend to make dents in the seats, but those go away once you remove the seats. We even found something that had melted under one of the seats once and we managed to chip it up and out and it was fine after some leather conditioner. We always get black interior.

The one issue we had was that the kids muddy boots would leave marks on the back of the front seats. We found these plastic over hang things that also had some pockets in them for the kids' junk.

For us, we found that black leather interior was fairly indestructible for kids and carseats but the seat backs were not.

Yes! I need to put a really good overlay over the door arm rest. My kid's legs have grown to where he can lift them and rest them on that arm rest...even was able to push the button to roll the window down (I forgot to re-enable child lock). I have seen some felt covers designed for the palisade on some Korean sites and ebay. Just unsure of purchasing them, but I might as well bite the bullet to protect this lovely investment.
