Questions on the 2021 Pali Calligraphy

well if your family dealership can't find you your car then at what point does the obligation end? hahaha

If you're not in a hurry to buy then I suppose your family dealership can just order you a car or hold one of the incoming ones for you. I waited two months for my Limited AWD and the only requirements I had going into my purchase was that I wouldn't buy a black car or one with a white interior. I ended up with Rainforest Green and actually love the color. With having seen all the colors now, the only other color I would be hesitant to buy is the Moonlight Blue. Colors are subjective of course, but I am probably less particular about colors of my cars as long as it's not BLACK. hahahah. I hate seeing the swirl marks all black cars eventually get, and I keep my cars for many years so it's inevitable if I bought a black car the swirls would drive me nuts.

I can wait. I told them I’m not in a hurry. The obligation doesn’t really end in my eyes. My two cars in college were free. They sell me cars at or below cost now and give me full value for my trade-ins. Service is at cost or sometimes completely free. My dad’s brother started the business when I was just 2. My dad worked there until last year. They’ve always been very good to me and I wouldn’t be a jerk out of impatience.

I think the sales manager is hoping for a trade so it can get done more quickly than if they order one. He likely thinks it will make me happier and if I had to do something for my boss’ family member, I’d want to get it over with as fast as I could to take the pressure off myself. I love black cars, but too much work to keep clean. My G6 GTP coupe was black and I loved it more than my current CTS coupe. Talk about paint chipping tho. I had the front bumper repainted twice. I’m tired of grey/silver which most of my cars have been since the G6. I get a new car every 3-4 years.

Our dealer here in Peoria, AZ has two also with $1500.00 below MSRP, but they don't trade and would cost about $.90-$1.00 per mile to ship if they did.
It is easier just to have them order one for you

If it weren’t for the aforementioned family thing, I’d fly there and break it in driving it home. I’ve never been to AZ and always enjoy random road trips.

This is the perfect time of year, about 100 degrees and sunny.
You might consider taking a trip here after you get your Palisade.
There is the Grand Canyon, but do not miss Sedona if you ever
come here. Antelope Canyon is a site everyone should see, But
you need a reservation to see it.
Good luck on finding the Palisade you want. Don't take a second
choice, get the one you want.

100 degrees is the perfect time of year? Let me know when it’s 70! A trip to the Grand Canyon would be nice. I won’t settle. Thanks!

I just flew to MO last Saturday with my son to get the exact model because the Midwest is sold out right now. The trip back was 9 hours of driving. It drives for you! Way easy driving on road trips. All of the beige leather is the same throughout the line. Blue plastics and steering wheel and piping on moonlight and beige or limited’s with beige. Brown steering wheel and plastics on white and black callis and that’s it. Leather is beautiful color and paired with the dark brown isn’t bad with black accents in car. Just need tinted windows!

I've always thought the beige was different between the cars with blue vs brown accents. When paired with brown, it looks more tan. Good to know they all have the same color leather and just different accent colors.

Glad you enjoyed the drive home.

I’m glad we were able to figure this out as well. The sales manager contacted me yesterday and said he was able to get a white Limited with Beige interior from another dealer in WV. But I said if I can get a white Calligraphy with beige leather then I’ll keep waiting. I’d rather wait two months for the car I really want than settle for less to get it today.

The pics online and in some places totally look more tan, I agree but in real life completely the same. It’s all in the plastics. Not sure why Hyundai picked such weird colors the blue and brown seem strange to me. A dealer thought maybe they had left overs from another car production.

I have to say we really loved the blue accents when we test drove a light beige interior SEL. We just need black leather for our family. My husband was particularly taken with the blue in the car.

Leftovers from another production? Lol. Dealers are pretty funny at times. Hahaha
