Rear Climate Control

Anyone having the issue where rear climate control defaults to off every time at startup, regardless of settings (on, off, synced, locked) when car was last shutoff. This is on a limited. Appear Telluride has same issue, there’s a fairly robust thread in that forum but didn’t find anything here. On lower trims (maybe these don’t have fully automatic rear climate control?) it sounds like the opposite may be true - defaults to on regardless regardless of last setting. I’ve not reached out to Hyundai yet but will update when I do.

Noticed Same issue. The rear settings are not saved after powering off vehicle. It behaves like the heated and cool seat functions where they default off when the car is powered off.

dealer tested and confirmed. they opened a case with hyundai and indicated it’ll likely result in a software fix eventually

I would think that a map update is just a map update, not software...
