Roof Rack Crossbars - To Remove or Not to Remove

Hi Palisaders

I am just curious did anyone remove their Roof Rack Crossbars that come installed from the dealership if they had that add on.

I am not seeing any immediate use for it or that I am going to even use it or not I am not sure as it will require additional purchase too I believe for some cargo box etc.

I think it is taking away the sleek look that I should be getting out of my vehicle.

Suggestions?

I'd remove them in that case, and it's recommend by Hyundai. They created alot of noise and probably hurt MPGs. Takes less than ten minutes with their stupid tool, or about a minute with a drill and socket.

It seems to be a more Audi, Subaru, Volvo like look but I was NOT a fan to say the least. No joke, I pulled ours off that night as I was second guessing why we bought it. I've came around though & trying top make "The Look" better...

I understand why people would like them in snow country, or a BIG Fam on a road trip or if they don't have other vehicles to transport larger items. None of those are issues to us though so I seriously doubt they will ever be considered again unless we eventually look to sell...
