Okay so, I have a concern about how when you approach the vehicle with the key fob in your pocket and unlock the doors by the button on the door.
So like does the door still unlock via the button when you’re inside the vehicle with the key fob? What if you are trying to run from a crazy ex? Or a homeless person tries to open your door?

The exterior door buttons only function when the fob is in close proximity on the outside of the vehicle. If the fob is inside, the only way to get in is if your doors are already unlocked.

Thank you, I’ve never owned a vehicle with a key fob before 🙃 I feel like it was a stupid question but I’m sure I’m not the only one with the concern.

You can also set the doors to only open the drivers door with one push then have to push second time to open all doors.
Or the one push they all open.
Same on door handle or fob. if you lock with fob you can still unlock with button on door
