Avoid this company at all cost. They continually refuse to help on the extensive problems we have had with the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Just search Palisade and Smell on google. You should never need to visit the dealer 4 times for the same problem before you get to 1400 miles. A lot of problems with this new model. Corporate assign a representative (Paige) that was basically useless. She said up front there is not much they will do. From the start I was nothing more then a problem she needed to get off her books. Just recieved a message from her that basically said sorry about your luck. This company may be good in other parts of the world but here in the US they do not stand by their product.

Lemon law should be explored if you are having issues like that.
Depends on state you are in, but could help.

your post title suggests you have a check engine light but you are fed up because of the bad smell of the interior too, right?

I'm trying to understand

As for the smell, if Hyundai at any time acknowledged your issue then you might have a lemon law case depending on your state. do the research.

Yea this post isn’t explaining much other than a gripe air out. So the check engine light keeps coming on, but you don’t state why and what the dealership has done in regards to it. You talk about Palisade smell and going to the dealership 4 times, but is it about the smell or check engine light? Both? If you’re having the same issue over and over then you’re in Lemon Law territory. Look into it and best wishes.

Gee I didn't know the check engine light would come on with the smell!
I'll keep a close eye out for the light and see if Mine has smell
