Driving home and some dip shit darted out in front of me from an alley and damn near t-boned me. I slammed on the brakes then slammed on the horn.

Airbag light then came on and would not go off.. the one on the cluster top Left side...

drove the rest of the way home, it would not turn off.

Turned off the vehicle, waited 10 minutes or so, restarted.. still on.

Disconnected battery waited 30 minutes, reconnected... still on.

Punched the horn.

Turned off.

Hmmm...

Sounds like potentially an intermittent connection to the steering wheel airbag connector. Slamming on the horn may have dislodged it ever so slightly. Probably worth having it pulled off and checked/reseated.

Punching things is almost always the answer haha

Yep, nothing good comes from punching anything indeed :). OP, make sure you leave that part out when describing the issue to dealer. Ha ha. I'd take it to a dealer to get it looked at, as the airbag might not function when needed. Good luck.

already took it apart and fixed it.

guessing that slamming it when the dipshit cut me off dislodged a connector, Punching it reattached it, or at least to the point where the computer detected it being able to complete the circuit.

Took the airbag off, checked all the connections, reconnected everything and verified with my GDS VCI tool there are no codes. Everything seems to be good.

Benefit of being an ASE tech for 20 years. if it happens again I will take it in, if not I will mention it to the dealer when I go for my oil change in June.
