Stereo upgrades

If you have the SEL can you upgrade the factory stereo to the limited package?

In theory anything is possible but not probable. Virtually all the options are factory. In there you asking for both the Conv, Premium, Drivers package, or Simply the stereo from the limited which may depend on the upgraded AV unit in Drivers package. Really all questions to ask a dealer/s.

I would think you would actually be just as well off keeping the SEL head unit and adding after market amp and speakers. There is some really good equipment available. Crutchfield.com is a good place to start.

Agres..the Limited radio is nothing to brag about

I guess I am not picky perfectly happy with Standard Stereo in SEL. I would rather have had the drivers package. But you had to pile Conf, Premium, Sunroof, and Drivers all together to get it.

I think the SEL actually sounds pretty good for a base system, but as is always the case, there are better options out there.
