The Telluride has ambient lighting and I don’t think the Palisade has that unless it’s a separate lighting package which I hope is the case. Why go digital cluster and not have ambient cabin lighting? That’s upscale if you want to compete at that level. Kia thought of it, should have been a no brainer for Hyundai.
Palisade also has power 3rd row folding seats (in terms of technology). Palisade's e-brake location is in a different, non-traditional location as compared to the Telluride.
Also, regarding the ambient lighting, both the Limited Palisade and SX Telluride have similar 64 color ambient lighting, with the difference being that the Palisade has light strips along the bottom edges of the center console, instead of on the front dash (right above the glove compartment, if I’m not mistaken), where the Telluride’s light strips are. Both have light strips along the interior doors.
Where the major difference in ambient lighting occurs is in an optional lighted footwell package available with the Telluride. It consists of a few LED bulbs in the foot wells that are controlled by a button near the front row cup holders. It can be added for $450.
I added a set of four led lights that can be adjusted between many different colors and even dances with the sound sound system. So I have them in the front and second town seats- $20 on Amazon ! People love the effect!
