Traction Control Upon Exceleration

I recently purchased a 2021 Limited with front-wheel drive. Didn't think I needed an all-wheel-drive since I now live in Florida (no snow!). I haven't owned a front-wheel drive vehicle in a while and noticed I can not pull out into traffic quickly or I lose control. Back end "fishtails" all over the place! Is this normal for a front-wheel drive Palisade? Or is there an issue with my traction control? Haven't gone back to the dealer yet to complain.

Have you checked your tire pressure? There's no good reason why you should be losing traction in the rear end in a fwd vehicle under acceleration unless you're driving VERY aggressively and erratically. It'd be one thing if you were breaking traction and understeering, but snap oversteering (fishtailing) is very bizarre.

sounds like you're driving with 5lbs of air in your rear tires. Like Saxman said, no reason for your rear end to be breaking traction in a fwd car when you're pulling away from a stop.

Thanks, tire pressure is good and I have no problem accelerating from a stop going straight (like from a traffic light), it's just when I'm turning onto a busy road and you need to pull out quickly I feel like I have no control and have to back off the accelerator. I'm very hesitant now to turn onto a road quickly.

low tire pressure, loose lug nuts, or a rear suspension problem are about the only things that can cause a FWD car to fishtail.
Are you sure you aren't just feeling the Traction control cut off power to the front wheels?
Once you are used to driving an AWD vehicle, driving a FWD is different
