If the engine has a miss, an OBD might give more information. I suggest you could go to most auto parts stores and they will check your engine for free. In years past I have found that a miss would often be caused by water entering the cylinder that has the miss. If so, the water will cause a vapor when contacting the hot exhaust. I hope that’s not the problem. If so, the water is entering the cylinder through a blown head gasket or cracked head or cylinder and either is difficult to repair.
