Hi everyone,
Like millions of buyers out there in the wild, my search for a 3-row family hauler has come down to a battle between two Davids!
I have read, watched and re-read/re-watched reviews, blogs, opinions and videos on both and comparisons between the two. I think I need a break at this point.
Anyway, I have boiled it all down to this line of thinking:
1. At the top end, if I don't care about AWD (here in Texas), then the Limited Palisade at MSRP (44,700) takes the prize over a Telly SXP (46,285 with tow or 45,490 without). Why? That amazing looking digital cluster AND some money saved! Just that instrument cluster in itself makes me want to jump at the Pally.
2. If not choosing between the top end, then the Telly SX (41,490) is a better bet than the Pally SEL + Convenience + Premium + Driver assistance packages (41385). I'm saying this as at this point they both are essentially equal, BUT I can now jump for the Dark Moss + Butterscotch interior combo in the Telly.
I am not really looking at the other advantages of the Pally (like reclining 3rd row) or Telly (2nd-row ventilated with SX) at this point.
So then the real question is:
Is the 3,200$ upgrade from the Telly SX to the Pally Limited worth it for that amazing fully programmable instrument cluster?
I have full quotes for both vehicles from local dealers charging only MSRP, and with TTL included on both, the difference is actually about $2600.
Your thoughts folks?? Also, don't flame me if I end up posting this for opinions in the cousin forum
Cheers!
