When I'm away from home and see anything on my exterior that shouldn't be there, is it okay to remove it with a baby wipe? Sometimes spit on a tissue doesn't quite cut it. Thanks!

as long as you are being gentle and the substance is something like a bird dropping you should be just fine. Applying pressure to Mud that has sand in it or other types of grit could cause the clear coat to become scratched but that's nothing that a good buffing couldn't take out.

Thanks so much! I'll be careful, but good to know I can use something so readily at hand.

you could also throw a small bottle of detail spray and a microfiber towel in that awesome cubby we have underneath the trunk space

for quick wipes any brand will do. I use CarPro and pour some into a 4oz pump spray bottle. Just toss that and a microfiber towel in the storage compartment in the rear. Rinse less or waterless car wash works great as well.

The Chemical Guys microfiber towels are better than the Kirkland towels. The latest Kirkland towels aren't as thick and soft as they used to be. I recently ordered the Chemical Guys towels on Amazon and they'll be replacing all my older Costco towels. I am normally a huge Costco fan, but their microfiber towels don't get me excited and I don't recommend them to my friends.

Try the Chemical Guys towels and you won't go back to the Kirkland ones.

The chemical guys in towels may be a little bit better but as a palisade owner one must think that we are a value minded person and when I can get three times the amount for less money when I throw them away after one use anyway so it seems like a good value buy to me.

If you’re throwing towels away after one use I wouldn’t call that being value minded.

I don’t consider my microfiber towels disposable. It would be interesting to do a survey to see who else on this forums throws away towels after one use.
