Reading all the threads and having gone though the wind noise "repair" with no success, just the loss of $120 for a tire balance/alignment which did nothing, it seems to me we have several different issues at hand. I'm fairly sure my issue is road noise from the tires as it seems to get much worse when the road surface changes from asphalt to concrete. I have no clue what if anything can be done about that, maybe let out a little air in the tires...mine are at 38 psi....but I think we need to possibly all better define as best we can what our issue is and then figure out what if anything can be done about it. I'm not sure if a poll is in order, but I just wanted to put it out there.

Anything over the 35psi will cause noise and a harsh ride.
The best bet is to get new tires
Several dealerships have had tires replaced for owners or had out side specialty shops road force balance the tires

Stock tires are crap in that regard (noise and ride), especially the Hankooks my Calligraphy came with. And yes, concrete and chip-and-seal are horrible, especially at higher speeds. The SUV is well hushed with wind noise (at least mine), but Hyundai didn't pay any attention to road noise insulation. The Germans are typically better at that. I plan to buy the quietest tires available maybe at 15K miles, to at least enjoy damage-free wheels for the first year or two. But to be honest, I don't think they'll make a huge difference, but anything would be welcome. I don't want the Michelin Cross-Climates, which are reportedly the best choice if you need snow capability. I want something even quieter that is just M+S (not the snow mountain symbol), but haven't start my research yet. I'm curious how much of a difference the tires make. That will dictate how soon I replace them.

try the new Pirelli scorpion AS plus3
There great but you will still get road noise on certain types of road pavement.
They will ride much better
It is more lack of insulation in the floor board and a stiff strut with 20" wheels
Mine came with Bridgestone tires and have to make sure they aren't over the 35 PSI
or they will get noisy and harsh riding.

Thank you for that recommendation; will check it out. Hopefully Pirelli makes that model with noise-reduction, called 'PNCS', or Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which basically is gluing closed-cell foam to the inside of the tire, like my Tesla Michelin tires have (Michelin calls it 'acoustic technology').
