So I just dropped of my palisdae for regular maintenance - have had it short of 1 year. Did and still lover the vehicle however I thought over time the wind noise got worse, especailly over 60 and the ride got just rougher. I got a loaner, a 2021 santa fe and I have to tell you, night and day. It was quiet, soft ride - just like the palisade was when I drove it out of the lot. Actually called the dealer back and reinforced the issues. Be very curious as to what they did when I pick it up. A thought I had, since just about everyone has a smartphone is to download one of the noise level apps and lets compare numbers. Maybe record at 40, 60 and 80 mph

Surprised didn't try to sell new tires..
well picked up the car. Asked to speak to the tech who did the work to explain the reason for the alignment so early. He basically described that all the wheels were a little out of whack. He had me rub the tread - in one direction they were sharp, in the other direction smooth. Said it was called "feathering" and that the alignment was sorely needed, especially the initial one....sort of implying their will be more.....yeah right. I'll be taking the car on the highway Thursday so I'll see if there is a difference. However, they did say there was a recall for the wind noise and that parts were ordered. Should come in within a week or so and then we'll see.
Recall or tsb ? And what are the parts to be ordered ?
That irks me...why not havethe parts on hand, saving us poor slobs another trip back to the dealership

And brakes..lol. along with nitro in the tires....The new tires will come when he takes it back because alignment didn't work

If there is fix for the wind noise, it obviously is not a recall, which is an official term related to safety issues coordinated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. All recalls are TSB's, but not all TSB's are recalls. Recalls require that all owners be notified by mail of the defect and the fix.
They may come up with a partial fix for the wind noise, but I suspect that the root cause is turbulence caused by the shape of outside mirror and other nearby parts. Apparently they did not do sufficient wind tunnel testing.

That should be covered by the Hyundai new car warranty if you have under 12,000 miles on the vehicle:

The new 2021 Santa Fe is very interesting, especially the top trim levels, which have pretty much the same features as the equivalent Palisade. The one feature I like the most is that when you activate the left or right turn signal, you can see the blind spot video displayed in the main instrument panel. I was surprised that the 2021 Santa Fe also has this same feature in their top trim levels.
I will be checking both out in a few months (or maybe wait for 2022 models) when the COVID-19 pandemic winds down (I am not driving enough to justify buying a new car right now). The Santa Fe does not seem to be in the same short supply as the Palisade, maybe because the Santa Fe is built in the USA and Palisade is built in Korea. Or maybe there is just a lot more demand for the 3-row SUV's.

New tires always feel more "plush" compared to later, say, after 12k miles. It's like the engine always feels smoother immediately after an oil change.

So driving a brand new loaner Sante Fe and comparing it to your year old Palisade isn't a fair apples to apples comparison. I bet if you jumped in and drove a fresh Palisade it would feel smoother too.
Wind noise though, I will agree that my wind noise got a bit worse over the months. Maybe it's the compression of the seals? In any event, I've taken to tacking the issue myself and hunting down ways to quell wind noise has become a bit of a fun obsession.

However, if the Santa Fe rides as well as the Palisade (both with new tires), that is quite an accomplishment for the Santa Fe, and especially nice for those who don't need three rows of seating.
