Wireless Android Auto

Does anyone have a suggestion in which usb outlet to plug my AA Wireless Android Auto dongle into. It seems to only work when plugged in at the usb just above the the wireless charging pad for the Cell phone. Problem is that usb Port is ALWAYS live and never shuts down when ignition is off.
Why the Palisade Limited doesn't have wireless Android Auto built in is beyond me....

Only that one USB port interfaces with the infotainment system, so that’s your sole option.

That port remains live for about 10 minutes or so after the car is turned off, although it will also turn on anytime the car is “woken up” (accessed remotely, unlocked, etc).

Thank you for the information. That must also explain why every time I get near the car I can see it flashing. I'm going to try to get close enough to see it with no keys in my pocket. Then I will be sure it is shutting off as it is supposed to.
