My Palisade
2021 Palisade Calligraphy
Picked up my 2021 Calligraphy today and discovered after I got home that the rear windows don’t auto up, but the fronts do. What the hell is this b.s. holy corner cutting crap.

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy has that feature for rear windows.

Part out!!! Just kidding. Man, that IS odd... It reminds me of when the first generation Hyundai Genesis only had a ventilated/cooled seat for the driver's side. Very strange cost cutting measure...

I always assumed that not having auto up in the rear was a safety issue (for kids, etc), but I guess not since some other Hyundai SUV's have it.

Yeah mine definitely does not. Even the symbols on the drivers door indicate they are not auto up (or down I just realized)5DE2A526-7F4C-4B72-8ABB-B2F54B46C54D.webp

Thankfully there are aftermarket modules to fix the issue, but I shouldn’t have to spend $50 to do this. It should be standard On a $50K luxury vehicle.

Damn I just realized they don’t auto down either, I must‘ve been holding the button for down and not realized it last night.

Dammmit.

We've had ours for two months and I'm not sure that we've even lowered the rear windows. Probably need to check and make sure that they work. The child safety issue was the first thing I thought of as well. Window switches on ours also indicate no auto up/down. First world problem?

As I mentioned above, the Calligraphy trim level of the new 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe has auto up/down windows for 2nd row passenger seats. So maybe we will see that in the 2022 Palisade.

Dears,

What module did you find to resolve the 2nd row window not being up/down?

He hasn't been here in three months.

If I ran the site, I'd bombard him with emails until he returned and spilled the beans. Googling isn't turning up anything.

AutoLoc makes this type of adapter, they’re about $35 each and available on Amazon.

Safety feature for children.
But it does go down with switch on driver side? You just have to hold it until down or where you want it? We ordered a 2022 SEL/PREM but can’t open hatch in garage. Was hoping there was an option on remote fob. Please let us know
