I don’t know if Apple carplay is the same as android auto but thats pretty much what I do everyday. Either Waze or Google maps with iHeartRadio, XM etc playing. When I get in and turn the car on with phone plugged in the screen just defaults to the nav I had up previously and the music also does the same. Then I just control music from wheel switches.
thanks it worked- also I had the car on accessory and got a battery discharge warning on the middle screen, I’ve gotten this b4 but was not on this forum to see the reason for that message-any idea on that?I don’t know if Apple carplay is the same as android auto but thats pretty much what I do everyday. You can. Enable split screen mode in the settings and you'll be able to use one of the built-in widgets on the empty 1/3 of the screen. One of them is media info.I just wish that while in Android auto (usually using Waze), I could get the 1/3 of the screen with the Android Auto logo replaced with the radio station info from SiriusXM.
