Prices Paid

I just picked up a Limited AWD for my wife. $47,975 MSRP (mats, cargo mat, cargo net, splash guards). $500 under MSRP and $900 in incentives - $46,575 OTD (no fees). I found it to be a fair deal on the exact model my wife wanted, and I was in and out of the dealership in 45 minutes.
Sounds great! Where was this dealer?

The dealer was Regional Hyundai in Broken Arrow, OK. They were at MSRP at first, and when I was debating pulling the trigger he asked if an extra $500 off would help get the deal done. Drove down from KC that night to pick it up. Very good transaction.

Braman Hyundai sent me this "offer" after a test drive today
As per our conversation earlier at the dealer, here are the numbers on the 2020 Palisade Limited.

MSRP: $46,495

Selling Price: $45,500

APR: 1.9%

Monthly Payment: $880.31

Unpaid Balance: $50,133.85
That’s not a good price, they probably gave you $1,000 off in incentives that you qualify for and nothing off MSRP. What’s your sales tax? Isn’t Florida 6% ($2,730), so what is the additional $1,903.85 for?

Well there is title, and doc fees but No its not a good price. Granted that was his first email. I asked the salesman about the $500 conquest cash and he said, "oh thats only if you have a higher end vehicle" which is not true. I looked it up and if you currently are driving anything other than a Hyundai or Kia it counts.

He definitely knows that and he's definitely applying the $500 conquest incentive. He's just rolling it in to your discount.

I can give you a contact you’ll be able to buy it and get it shipped to you

Thanks, but I think I might try some neighboring states...I know I can ship the car...but I'd like to try closer first.

I also live in the Bay Area and all dealers near and far are asking 8K over MSRP. I finally got the car from Los Angeles area for 1.5K over :( ... still worth it, love the car. It's a Black, Limited, AWD

Dealers seem to be scrambling to make sales today. I've received multiple calls from all the dealers in the Atlanta area. Lowest quote I've received is $42,500 drive out for an SEL with all 4 option packages. Anybody get anything better?

My limited was 48 out the door with tow hitch and ball along with AWD

Hard to compare without knowing what taxes and fees make up your otd price.

Idk that price was just in a text message. Previous quote was for $39,738+699 doc fee+170 taxable fees+2677 (7%) state tax=$43,284.

Guess he removed the doc fee on his $42500 number.

Assuming you got the conquest incentive, so $1650 pre-incentive dealer discount. Definitely one of the better limited discounts I've seen.

Yes, conquest $500 + $50 test drive. The rest came out of the dealer's 3% hold back. This was back in June BTW, before things went nuts.

Remember to look into Bonus Drive.com for the extra $500 rebate.

At $1650 discount, you're not in to holdback yet

Hold was listed @3%. I may not be below cost, but I’m into the holdback. Depends on your definition.

Holdback is 3% past invoice. Gotta get to invoice first before you're into holdback.

Couple of dealers are offering me about 2700 off the MSRP, in Chicago area.
