There are some folks out there that feel what you are going through aint all that bad...they screwed up the TBS.s and now they are all canceled. One owner said stick a foam rope in the window ,that works better than the TBS....now that is funny...if you want it fixed take to a top notch body shop...that in the end will be the resolve..
Nobody's saying that. What some of us are saying is that Hyundai is actively working on the issue. They went from 0 car in the US at the end of June, when it went on sale, to a TSB for wind noise issue in early November. That's only 4 months to, 1) build up a decent enough population of cars to get feedback from customers (meaning they probably didn't hear about this right away, which makes their response time even faster), 2) figure out 4 possible fixes (emphasis on possible), 3) issue a TSB, 4) modify their supply chain to account for spare parts used for this TSB. All in 4 months.
Now it's pretty clear that they released the TSB quickly, in order to address the most likely causes, before completing their investigation. They did that to make customers happy, instead of waiting for a full investigation to be complete. It appears we're now at that point and that a more permanent fix will be released shortly.
You say they screwed up the TSB, but it did fix the issue on many cars. It did accomplish what it was supposed to do, which is implement fixes that were known. They probably knew they had more work to do, and they've done that.
I understand that people want their fix now and any delay is unacceptable. But this is the real world, and the time it took them to get the first TSB out and all that it entails is actually pretty short. It's very clear that they are working on it.
