I just changed my stock rims to 22" and they look really nice but now my car shakes after going 60mph. Any idea why? Maybe too heavy?

You need to get them road-force balanced at a competent suspension shop. You may also need a wheel alignment. Some after-market wheels may be of lower quality (or have damage to them) that makes it much harder to properly balance them. But the heaver rims probably don't help either.

Personally, my back starts hurting when I just look at a vehicle with 22" rims (if 20" are standard).

Wheels need to be properly balanced and make sure air pressure is the same and seriously check your lug nuts!!!
