Is anyone else getting intermittent blank screens with first start up of the day? It has occurred about 10 times and always with the first start up when temp is below 50. Screen remains blank until vehicle is shutoff for more than just a few minutes.

What trim level do you have first of all? My wife's SEL seems good so far. If it isn't a Limited, is it equipped with the drive guidance pkg?

I have not heard that from anywhere else without Carplay being involved. The only black screen I have gotten was caused by Wired or Wireless (using carlinkit/car2play wireless adapter). It was not temperature dependent. It happened randomly to me when I had waze going like 3 times in 7 months. I actually think it was Apple Carplay's fault. Unplugging that wired usb to your phone or wireless adapter quickly got things back to normal. Never seen that without Carplay. If no carplay or Android Auto it may be be somthing to have them update or reload your firmware on your AV unit. I understand that is sometimes partially self serve in so far as the map update/Nav software but not the whole AV firmware/software

Good Luck

Thanks. No it happens with or without carplay in use. My Palisade is a fairly early one and had a software upgrade as a recall. It was hoped that that would have solved the problem but did not.

Thanks for you input. It’s not related to the use of CarPlay. There was a recall on the software last summer and the dealer applied it hoping it would fix the problem - it didn’t.
Problem reoccurred this morning along with 2 other symptoms. There was no chime when I unlocked the doors and the compass could not orient itself.

Palisade AV update? Might need reset head unit or have it replaced if it is causing issues.
