I have not heard that from anywhere else without
Carplay being involved. The only black screen I have gotten was caused by Wired or Wireless (using carlinkit/car2play wireless adapter). It was not temperature dependent. It happened randomly to me when I had waze going like 3 times in 7 months. I actually think it was
Apple Carplay's fault. Unplugging that wired usb to your phone or wireless adapter quickly got things back to normal. Never seen that without
Carplay. If no
carplay or
Android Auto it may be be somthing to have them update or reload your firmware on your AV unit. I understand that is sometimes partially self serve in so far as the map update/Nav software but not the whole AV firmware/software

Thanks. No it happens with or without
carplay in use. My Palisade is a fairly early one and had a software upgrade as a recall. It was hoped that that would have solved the problem but did not.
