is the CA cargo mat rubber? it almost looks "woven" in the pic.

It looks like it is some kind of plastic or rubber material, with a pattern molded on the top of it to minimize stuff sliding around. I am sure you realize that plastic or rubber can be molded into just about any shape.

I would say it’s a rubber. It’s sticky and bends easily worth out creasing.
