Hello all. Just a discussion I thought I’d start to see what opinions others have. Nearly every review I’ve read or watched refers to the Hyundai Palisade as a family hauler. I’m 39, happily single and do not have any children. I’ve always preferred sportier cars. My favorite car I owned was a Pontiac G6 GTP coupe. My current vehicle is a Cadillac CTS coupe. Maybe my mid-life crisis car is just a reverse of the cliché. But on a few work trips my rentals were a Durango, a Suburban and a Tahoe and suddenly I decided I needed to switch to a SUV. The Tahoe RST was my top choice until the Palisade came along. Also, due to unfortunate life events, I no longer have immediate access to a truck when I have a large load to lug around (the two door CTS doesn’t cut it). I’ve read a lot of posts on the forums from people with no kids or kids old enough to have their own vehicles. So I’m just curious, do you all see this vehicle as a family hauler? If not, what drew you to it? For me, I was ready for something different and some additional practicality.
