Good Morning

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Palisade! So what made you choose the Hyundai over the KIA?

Welcome. Can't go wrong with either one IMHO. We chose the Palisade for the:

1) Price in limited trim
2) Digital dash
3) Power folding seats
4) Black chrome 20" wheels versus black
5) Better dash and center console layout for my wife

I will also add that the Telluride we test drove did have some fit/finish issues, especially around the lower driver's side dash area. The plastic panels just didn't line up properly. There were some other F/F issues but the dash was the biggie.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum!!!!!

Thanks. I loved the interior of the Palisade when I saw it. It has more features for only a bit more money. The exterior grew on me. Coming from a Pilot I like the blind spot cameras. My wife preferred all of the power options. Digital cockpit is a big plus. And finally Kia dealers near me are trying to get thousands over MSRP.

Hey, that's really interesting... So your local Kia dealerships are STILL asking for thousands over MSRP while your Hyundai dealerships are not? And the Palisade is brand new? Very interesting...

Same here. Bob King is our "price leader" here in NC and is asking $53K for his lone Telluride SX. He also has a Hyundai dealership. We shopped a leftover 2018 Tuscon there back in December. He offered us $21,800 OTD after TTT and said he would be anyone else's offer. We ended up buying from Carolina Hyundai about 20 miles away for $21,000. Tried to get Bob King to match the offer and he refused stating that I was lying. Awesome service Bob King, LOL.

Just for giggles I looked up KBB value on the car after we bought it and trade in was $21K with up to 10K miles on it.....so we felt like we got a pretty good deal.

It's great when you have a dealership that you can trust - locally... That's often not the case...

Yes, stopped at one last Kia dealership on my way to make sure and they had 8 of them some how. Not only was it 4k over sticker for a sxp but it actually said non negotiable in pen on the window. Of course I just looked at the vehicle and left with no intention of buying

Man. Heh. I wouldn't shop there. I guess they got tired of people trying to get a better deal...
