I am the previous owner of three different Genesis’s. I had a 2009 and later a 2015 Hyundai Genesis. Last February I bought a GV70. It’s a beautiful car but I was unhappy with it for three reasons. First, it was the base model and had very little technology. Second, the backseat leg room was ridiculously small. Adults were cramped. Third, my local dealer no longer sells the Genesis and the Genesis dealer where I bought it—and could have gotten free maintenance—offers a terrible service experience. It is not worth going there for free service.
To get the larger GV80 would have cost more than $70,000. Instead I got a moonlight blue Palisade Limited. Loads of room (including a third seat that I don’t need), the technology that I have been craving, and—to top it off—a better ride. Oh I love my Palisade!
