Safe drive to Orlando...if the wind noise resolve comes out from Hyundai prior to your trip...I will pay for your gas..lol. I suggest you load up on painters tape..
they will give me a loaner before I put painters tape on the car. Its a lease but I am not going to deal with that noise.

Tell the Mickster I said hi when you get there.

I have the same problem. I just pick up my new palisade yesterday. I when drive through highway more than 30 mile per hour, I heard wind noise like whistle from driver side windows. I call dealership service department in Austin TX and they told me this is known issue for palisade and Hyundai is working on it but still there is no solution and we cannot fix it.
I called hyundai customer service and they told me they cannot disclose any information regarding it.

You did not test drive prior to purchase apparently....you should have asked dealership for painters tape and foam..

If they can not fix it or there is not fix or no promise of fix can you return the SUV?

Yeah, but only if your state is a lemon law state. It should fall under the lemon law at some point.

The fix ..if it ever comes may be a while..THE virus is taking hold in S.Korea it appears, resulting in work stoppages, supply chain interruptions etc. So even if a fix is discovered the resulting repairs may be delayed . But let's all hope for the best..

According to other posts, Hyundai also has engineers in the US who are working on the wind noise problem. There may still be hope for a sooner resolution.

Is anybody else experiencing a very loud wind noise on the driver side of the car at higher speeds. Mine is so loud it hurts my ears. I am going to take it to the dealer, but wondered if anyone else was experiencing it or took it into the dealer.
Yes. I’m experiencing the same thing in my new Palisade. Just got it on Wednesday. The dealership is looking into it. Also seems like cars driving past me in the opposite direction are more noticeable than in my 2013 Santa Fe. I think my Santa Fe was quieter.

I just got a new Palisade. When i test drove another palisade before buying this unit, i did not hear much road noise through driver window.

But in this Palisade when i dive >40 MPH it feels like air trying to gush in type of road noise. Is this normal?

Note: TSB (technical service bulletin) here:
I just picked my palisade up on Wednesday, 2/19/20 and have the same wind noise/ whistling problem. My dealership is trying to resolve it. The cars passing by going the other way also sound more noticeable than when driving my 2013 Santa Fe. I’m not sure if the noise is coming from the door seal or from around the window itself. I hope they find a solution quickly as it is annoying. The noise is most noticeable in my car when driving between 35 and 50 mph.

Congrats on your new Palisade, and welcome to the group.

Just got mine and I hear a night pitch sound coming from the drivers door. Weird thing is car in park. sound goes away if I turn off the climate control fan. Or open up any window. Seems like a vacuum leak from the drivers door outer seals. Dealer is replacing both seals hopefully sound goes away.

I did take it to Stew Hansen. I am going to keep my ears open to see if it stays quiet. I feel like some days it's completely silent, but this morning, I felt like it was louder. At this point, maybe it's in my head. I need to drive the Palisade, and then instantly go drive a different brand of vehicle to see if I can still hear a difference.
