Wind noise and buffering in Hyundai Palisade

The only other thing I mentioned, was that all trim levels need to come equipped with LED headlights, just like some of it's competitors
Other than the atlas, which has pathetically bad LED lights, what of the competition comes with LEDs on all trim levels?

Not ordering a C8 until the Z06 is out for 2 years, so thinking 2022.
Gives Chevrolet at least a year to get the bugs worked out of the Z06 and 2 to get the new model glitches out of the basic C8 platform. That rumored flat plane crank V8 is going to be an incredible powertrain.

The Mazda CX9.
After driving one for a few years, I can definitely say that they fall into the same category as the atlas led lights... Really bad. Hell, the halogen palisade lights have better output on the IIHS tests.

Well, that's really good to know. Makes me feel even better about the purchase.

Is anybody else experiencing a very loud wind noise on the driver side of the car at higher speeds. Mine is so loud it hurts my ears. I am going to take it to the dealer, but wondered if anyone else was experiencing it or took it into the dealer.
I notice excessive wind noise too on driver side. Nothing crazy but you notice it when on Hwy...

I just got a new Palisade. When i test drove another palisade before buying this unit, i did not hear much road noise through driver window.

But in this Palisade when i dive >40 MPH it feels like air trying to gush in type of road noise. Is this normal?

Yes, we’ve had the wind issue since we purchased our Palisade in December 2019. We’ve had it back to the dealership five times for troubleshooting and “fixes”. The dealership changed the door seals and pressure tested the cabin but nothing fixed the wind noise. Finally, the service manger removed the mirrors and took our Palisade for a test drive with the mirrors removed... the excessive wind noise was gone. The service manager concluded the wind noise is turbulent air from the side view mirrors hitting the windows but there is nothing they can do about that. Our dealership has been great but Hyundai refuses to find a solution. We filed a claim and Hyundai offered $300 compensation. We turned down the $300 and decided to open a claim with the BBB.

Very interesting..just what the heck are you supposed to do with the $300..buy ear plugs..those side view mirrors seem to get a lot of attention..they dont fold ..the color on the limited does not match the body color..and they cause noise..I feel after reading your saga, along with the fact this problem has persisted for eight months....there ain't gonna be a fix.. 300 bucks....now that is a classic...

Sure, they fold. Use your hands and push.

Hyundai can keep their $300...I just want a $50K vehicle to drive and ride like a brand new vehicle should.

The windnoise is obviously because of the design engineering of the mirrors and so forth. I noticed it, now we just ignore it. 99% of the time we have music on when we driving anyway...

Here's my video. You can start to hear the resonance at :16. Don't bother listening on a cell phone as you don't have enough bass to hear the low frequency drone. Anything above 60mph and this drone happens. After 15 minutes of highway driving you will absolutely lose your mind. No radio can drown this out without making the occupants deaf. I can assure you, that if Hyundai doesn't fix this, it will be the last Hyundai I ever buy.

So please, can somebody help me out. Is there or is there not a build date after which the wind noise has stopped?
