Wind noise and buffering in Hyundai Palisade

Wonder at what point the factory will make the correction for new shipments into USA? Ready to buy, but don’t want to go thru multiple trips back to dealer. Date built on driver door, correct???

I was given a loaner today when they were looking at my vehicle again for PDR and it was a 2020 Santa Fe. There was a terrible wind noise in this SUV too so it makes me wonder if this is not isolated to Palisade, but maybe something more global with Hyundai.

This is something I've noticed on my sel myself and noticed the window didn't go into place while i was rolling up the window so rolled it down and it went right back but I do seem to hear it here and there

Is anybody else experiencing a very loud wind noise on the driver side of the car at higher speeds. Mine is so loud it hurts my ears. I am going to take it to the dealer, but wondered if anyone else was experiencing it or took it into the dealer.
Yes took mine to dealer today. They said they were suppose to put foam to help with noise. It did not do a thing. I believe the noise is coming from the air cent next to the window.

When was your palisade built? I’m trying to see if this a build production range issue

The tsb told me nothing. I'm too busy with the holidays to hassle with Hyundai. I will get to them soon as possible. If I get a run a around I'm going to start screaming on social media about never buying a Hyundai. I hear that should get their attention.

It isn't. Otherwise, it would have been mentioned in the TSB, just like it is in the TSB for the vibration at high-speed.

That's not to say they're not implementing changes in production, but I don't think they're 100% sure what exactly is causing it.

From what I’ve read, others have had success getting the tsb done successfully. Worth a shot if you haven’t done it yet

Update****

Dealer basically told me they can't do anything. I had to call Hyundai consumer services and they assigned me a case manager. The dealer was trying to tell me the noise was "normal". Bruh, nooo way. I asked him if his vehicle makes wind noise like that. Then he tried to say, "Well you're comparing different vehicles." Totally missing the point I was trying to make. The noise is not normal and I'm not going to continue to pay for discomfort. I've had the vehicle for two weeks. UNACCEPTABLE

I would go to a different dealer. Did they even try to attempt the TSB?

He mentioned there might be a TSB, and I said there is. So then he directed me to consumer services. I will say I was impressed with their customer service. Call took less than 5 minutes and they made sure they had everything noted.

If you have to go back print it out and give it to him directly. What month was yours built?

I'm not sure, but I won't have to deal with the dealer anymore unless Hyundai directs me too.

I just put down a deposit yesterday on a Limited that is due in end of this month. The Limited that I drove at the dealer had the driver's side wind issue and the salesman thought it might be from the car still being covered in plastic as it had just arrived hours earlier. It was annoying enough that I am thinking of cancelling. Has anyone tried adding more seals to the door on their own?

I am having the same problem with driver side wind noise. I am considering looking into the Atlanta Lemon Law

No I haven't. Seems like this will be a big issue. TSB already out on it, when I called consumer services it seemed like I wasn't the first.
