Prices Paid

I am sure dealer needs to meet their month end quota.
Month end quotas are a thing of the past right now. No dealers are coming anywhere near hitting volume bonuses, so more and more dealers are targeting gross profit per vehicle. Right now is not a good time to buy if you can avoid it.

With all that said, the best deal within 300 miles of Los Angeles that I was able to achieve was from Bob Baker Hyundai in the San Diego area.

Anyone able to get a SEL AWD under MSRP in the NYC area? I'm looking to pick one up in white exterior, dark leather interior, and 20" wheels. TIA
Have you tried Healey Brothers in Fishkill, NY? They seem to have quite a few cars on their lot....

I just picked up a Limited AWD for my wife. $47,975 MSRP (mats, cargo mat, cargo net, splash guards). $500 under MSRP and $900 in incentives - $46,575 OTD (no fees). I found it to be a fair deal on the exact model my wife wanted, and I was in and out of the dealership in 45 minutes.
Where did you buy it

Buying a new car is rolling the dice, soooooo many variables. There was a time cash was king, now that means nothing. Only one constant with car buying...We all get screwed, just a matter of how badly..

I don't know that I agree with that. The problem is that most people go into the process without doing their homework. I'm amazed how many people rely on the dealer to tell them what rebates they may apply for or believe the dealer when they say "this is a great deal!"

Good, fair deals can definitely be had, but it's up to you to determine what that is BEFORE talking to a dealer.

Exactly, Not trying to brag or anything, but I definitely knew a whole lot more about our Palisade than our salesman did. It was kind of humorous at times. Salesmen that have been in the car sales business the longest, (especially multiple brands) seem to have this false conception that they don't need to learn their product anymore, instead relying solely on the selling aspect of the job. Just my observation. Not in all cases, but certainly some.

I gave up a long time ago on expecting a salesman at a dealership to be a useful source of data for anything other than grabbing the keys to the vehicle for a test drive. Everything is available at your fingertips now... use it.

Oh yeah, they are very good at fetching keys when needed. My salesman didn't even go on the test drives with me, and I was wearing deodorant that day.

Not in my neck of the woods.... maybe with May’s incentives or in June when 2021’s are supposed to come in...

I have waited to see what the new incentives are for May (the April ones are still posted but I found this interesting:

1.9% APR
Financing for up to 60 months
Finance
Low APR
Effective April 3, 2020 - May 4, 2020
Effective April 3, 2020 - May 4, 2020 Effective 4/3/2020 - 5/4/2020 Special Low 0% APR (up to 36 months) at $27 per $1,000 financed for qualified buyers. Special Low 0% APR (up to 48 months) at $20 per $1,000 financed for qualified buyers. 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) up to 60 months. 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) up to 72 months. 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) up to 84 months. APR financing available, subject to credit approval by Hyundai Motor Finance to very well qualified buyers and not available on balloon financing. Only a limited number of customers will qualify for advertised APR.

Has it said that the whole time and I missed the 0% or is it possible this is the new May deals? I guess we will know in the next day or so. This would probably make me move forward.

Where are you seeing this? Because it's not applicable to the Palisade, as far as I can tell. Here's the page for the Palisade: Special Finance Offers: Hyundai Auto Finance Car Loans/Car Leases | Hyundai

It says: "Effective 4/18/2020 - 5/4/2020 Special Low 1.9% APR (up to 36 months) at $28 per $1,000 financed for qualified buyers. Special Low 1.9% APR (up to 48 months) at $21 per $1,000 financed for qualified buyers. 1.9% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) up to 60 months. 3.9% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) up to 72 months. APR financing available, subject to credit approval by Hyundai Motor Finance to very well qualified buyers and not available on balloon financing. Only a limited number of customers will qualify for advertised APR."

Other Hyundai models have 0% APR offers, but not the Palisade, as can be seen here: Special Finance Offers: Hyundai Auto Finance Car Loans/Car Leases | Hyundai

in June when 2021’s are supposed to come in...
A lot of manufacturers are talking about delaying the release of 2021 models because of covid19, so I wouldn't count on that one happening on time.

Negotiated a Palisade Limited AWD yesterday, $45,895 + ttl in the Seattle area. Plus they met the high end of the value on my trade, more than I expected. I pick it up today.
