Prices Paid

Is the Costco pricing listed anywhere? I'm a member but my understanding is that you MUST visit the dealership to see the pricing. Don't have the time to visit different dealers just to check out a price.

It's harder than you'd imagine to find an SEL with black leather and a bench seat. We don't have a favorite exterior color but don't want white or black if possible. I have used the Hyundai site to find cars and they are all fairly far away from us. I'm currently talking to a dealer almost 200 miles from us with the configuration we want (but not the driver guidance) but someone is test driving it today and my guess is they'll buy it.

Kirbo, you're asking about the Drive Guidance Package?

If you're going to be doing longer drives that include stop and go traffic on freeways, the HDA will be helpful. On an HDA mapped highway, the HDA smart cruise will allow the car to operate in stop and go traffic with stops up to 30 seconds long, compared to 5 seconds (?)if you don't have an HDA equipped Palisade. I just did a drive through the clogged Los Angeles freeways and it was nice not having to touch the brake or accelerator for 20 minutes while being stuck in this traffic mess.

You'll get the larger Infotainment screen, which to me is a nicety.

HD Radio isn't a big deal
Sirius Radio - I never subscribed

Blue Link, which I have used. I have used it to check on my car's location and I use it to remote start my car when I'm not close enough to use the key fob remote starter. It's nice getting into an air conditioned car when it's 100 degrees outside!

It's an extra $1,250 which isn't insignificant, but between the HDA stop and go feature and the larger screen and BL, the package has its value.

We lost out on the car I'd hoped for (the person that was test driving it bought it), so we'll probably end up with a 2021 and it will have those options on it (we'd be getting premium and convenience packages and I know drivers guidance is rolled in on them for the new year).
 
So I have a dealer that said they could get me out the door with a 2020 SEL AWD w/ Convenience Package and a Sunroof for 40500. Checking the Hyundai pricing it comes to 35625(msrp)+2200(convenience)+900(sunroof)+1140(freight)+8.8%(tax)=43373.
Doesn't seem THAT bad or THAT great but wondering what the consensus is? Good or Bad? Considering it the end of the month can I squeeze more out of the deal? Im paying cash.

I paid 52,145 out the door including taxes, tag, everything.

That’s a pretty good deal! You’ll be pretty pleased when you pull up to the dealership and see your car standing there. I ended up getting mine from Ron Marhofer in Akron. Congratulations!

Thanks. Congratulations also! We are excited. They had a Black with Brown interior in stock but we decided the light color interior may show dirt and wear sooner. So we opted for the Black on Black Calligraphy. Supposedly it will be in no later than September 23.

I just read this article today. So all in all a good deal given the data that dealerships are not discounting as much, if at all, given low inventory and higher spending power.

We just got a loaded 2021 SEL, MSRP $44,490 with things such as floor mats and the like, for $41,569. However, onto that they added the VIN etching and wouldn't remove that (they said it'd already been done), so I'd say our price was actually $41,968 ($41,569 plus their $399 etching fee). We qualified for the $500 military discount, so I figure that paid for the etching fee and their documentation fee (which was another $115). But all our paperwork shows we paid $41,569. Our goal was $3000 off MSRP and we didn't quite make that, but I'm very happy with what we got especially as we needed a bench seat and where we are, those are hard to come by. I think if we'd wanted captains chairs we'd have done even better.

We're in the PNW.
 
Any recommendations for a dealer in the Northern Virginia/Maryland area that is offering below MSRP for a Limited? So far most quotes have been at MSPR or even higher.
 
I just purchased a 2021 SEL Palisade hyper white sunroof and tint with some other extras like mats etc.. No money down Out the door price 38,000 1,89% interest for 84 months payments will be under $500. The MSRP on this vehicle was 37,540. Was this a good deal? These suvs are hard to find and are selling before they get to the lot.
 
I just got a 2020 Limited FWD for $1500 below MSRP with the 0% financing from Hyundai. I shopped dealers all over SoCal and this was the best I could find. A few did $500 below on a 2020 or 2021 and there were a couple that did $1000 below MSRP. Some refused to even talk about removing their add-ons/markups of $2k-$3k.
Also applied for a $250 rebate through BonusDrive.com.

If they’re still doing that bonus drive cash make sure you apply for it. It’s legit and takes roughly month and a half, two months to get the check.

Thank you @Craig44485, I wish I saw your spreadsheet prior to finalizing just the other day my Moonlight Cloud Calligraphy with Beige (the exact combination my wife wanted), I would have pressed more. In the Houston area, they are trying to charge "Market Adjustment" fees for the 2021 Calligraphy. With their forced local options $1485 which I got down to $895 (tint, wheel locks, Interior protection, door protectors, and nitrogen in wheels, with lifetime warranty), Freight $1140, and my added options (cargo cover, roof rack, upgraded ceramic tint fee), and TTL (tax is 6.25% TX), my OTD price tag was $54k. I didn't get a deal at all...but given how hard it was to get this color and model, I did it anyway. I figure it would still be worth it in the long run since I keep my cars for ~10 years, at least that's what I'm telling myself.
 
For those in the Southwest that are looking for the Calligraphy model below MSRP and are willing to travel to Phoenix, AZ, Larry Miller Hyundai is offering about $1,500 off MSRP for the Calligraphy models. You can buy online or call and put a deposit down. We picked up our Calligraphy that way as dealers in Southern California have not been willing to come off MSRP too much on those models - plus we had family out there that we were hoping to go see and this served as a good excuse!

Link to their Calligraphy models below. They are also discounting all of their other Palisade models. Configure them online so that you can remove the ancillary packages that you don't want before calling them.
