(Attach a piece of high density sponge ) what is with that....lol ..just go to the shop kitchen and grab a sponge...Hyundai does not supply the sponge...it seems a little weak in the wording and the resolve..for something this important ..
Well, at least in my case, they installed the sponge pad and it did not fix the issue. Taking it back again...(Attach a piece of high density sponge ) what is with that....lol ..just go to the shop kitchen and grab a sponge...Hyundai does not supply the sponge...it seems a little weak in the wording and the resolve..for something this important ..
Sorry to hear the TBS did not fix the problem...just the way the TBS is written concerns me. Stick a sponge in it what the heck is that all about. Thats the approach that is taken with an old junk car just to keep it on the road. I would not be surprised if there is more than one source of the wind noise.Well, at least in my case, they installed the sponge pad and it did not fix the issue. Taking it back again...
I took mine in with the TSB and the noise has improved but it is NOT fixed. That was the third time I had it in for wind noise. Now I wonder what is the next step with Hyundai?
Perhaps a trip to Home Depot as outlined above is in order...will take less time than fourth trip to dealer..I took mine in with the TSB and the noise has improved but it is NOT fixed. That was the third time I had it in for wind noise. Now I wonder what is the next step with Hyundai?
Assuming there is going to be a fix...Is there a way to be notified of the fix. I took my car to the dealer, they said the TSB is on hold, and offered no way to be notified and said to call hyundai directly at 800 633 5151. I did that, they have no awareness to said issue, and said they have no way to notify customers of a fix. So with that said, how does one find out or get notified once a fix is ready?
Canned responses/templates are very common in customer support, in order to work faster. It doesn't imply that the complaint isn't read and/or forwarded, or that nothing is being done about the issue being reported.Funny, I got the exact same response, just insert ‘automatic wipers’ where yours said ‘wind noise’ and it’s word for word. Suggests to me that a chat bot with some human proof-reading is actually generating the response here versus any overarching initiative to correct “said issue(s)”.
