TSB fix solved my wind problem.
That tells us nothing. Where was the wind noise and which of the 4 fixes in the TSB was installed?

Driver's side wind noise (a whistling sound). The invoice mentions TSB 19 BD 010H; driver front door window run was replaced (whatever that means).
Ever consider another dealer...?Just got back from the dealer to attempt to fix the wind noise, they did not have the Glass Run P/N: 82530 / 82540 in stock, so they placed a special order for it and told me usually they receive ordered parts in 2 days but given that this has been an issue on many Palisades it will take longer and they could not give me an exact timeframe for the part to arrive. They did perform the modification to the door garnish and placed a high density foam but it did not eliminate the whistling/wind noise. I also got the recall for the Blind-Spot Collision Warning done Recall# 19-01-046H, I was getting the error message displayed for system failure, hope this is it for this vehicle for now. I was on the fence in purchasing a first year model since issues like this show up, and I know no new vehicle regardless of first year model or not have some issues, but when I purchased my new Honda 2012 Pilot I did not experience anything like this right out the gate. Last rant, I hate having to go to dealers, they had me waiting 2 and a half hours and this was an appointment, when I went out to get my car the guy who drives the cars into the garage told me my vehicle has been sitting out in the lot for a while and they just failed to inform me that the repair was completed. Hopefully, the follow-up to the wind noise repair will be a much better outcome. I forgot to mention the person that checks you in asked me if the issue was whistling or wind noise, and if the whistling or wind noise was coming from the back or the front, the way I guess you answered is what would determine what they attempt to do as far as the recall since there are multiple fixes (high density foam, replace glass run, replace outside mirror assembly, or reassemble the glass run) sounds like they are too lazy to diagnose correctly by looking at all 4 options.
Definitely will be looking to have my Palisade serviced at a different dealer after I get this recall completed and my first maintenance at 3,750 miles since it came free with the purchase, regardless it’s hard but hopefully not impossible to find a reliable, honest and good communicating dealer. I live in Philadelphia and mostly took my Honda Pilot to New Jersey to get serviced, better prices and good communication throughout the service process, very few Honda dealers in Philadelphia met an excellent standard of service. I will be trying other Hyundai dealers in Philly before heading back to NJ if needed.Ever consider another dealer...?
You should post this in Prices Paid instead of Wind noise in Palisade...Got a dealer quoting 59% residual on a 36 mos/12000 limited lease . Seems high, any comments or comparisons. Looks like he’s making an additional $5000 on the deal. Not great!!!
I am taking my new Limited in tomorrow. I have a copy of the TSB, but I don't have the whistle noise. Just a ton of wind noise on the road and also if there is any wind outside at all. The cabin itself is just not at all quiet. I can hear other cars on the road as if my window is down. Like I can hear when a car is coming up behind me and then as they pass me. I understand this isn't a $100,000 Mercedes, but still, it should be quieter than my Chevy Silverado I replaced.
What do I do if the dealership tells me it's just "normal" wind noise and "normal" cabin loudness ?????
They supposedly fixed mine, but I can still hear the noise. I looked on the blue link app that day and they never took my car for a drive to test the fix. They also didn’t want to check any other TSBs on the car. Apparently they don’t check them unless you actually have an issue. Needless to say I’ll be back this week.
I would tell dealer to keep the car !!! Are you kidding me !That’s way louder than mine ever was!
I could see where the vehicle was on the map and I also as a precaution wrote down the mileage. How could you tell using the Bluelink app that they never took the car for a test ride? Writing down the exact mileage when it went in for the fix may be a better way to see it they did drive it and how far.
